Bread & Khoya Gulab Jamun

Gulab Jamun is a milk-based dessert popular in India. It resembles the American Doughnut holes soaked in sugar syrup. The traditional Gulab Jamuns are made by making the milk solids from scratch by reducing the milk and making it into a dough. Then deep-fried in ghee (clarified butter) in medium flame till golden. Then those Jamuns are soaked in sugar syrup for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Bread Gulab Jamun is an instant version to make Gulab Jamun. The dough of Jamun is made using bread and milk. It is so easy to make for anyone.

6 Slices Bread
1 Glass Milk
1 Glass Sugar
1 Glass Water
Dry Fruits for Garnish
Take 6 slices of bread & grind them into powder.
Add little milk & make a soft dough.
Heat a pan & add 2 tablespoons ghee, 1/4 cup milk, add 2 tablespoons heavy cream & mix it well.
Add half cup milk powder, Stir until it holds like a soft dough.
Procedure for sugar syrup:
Add 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar and mix it well and add a few cardamoms.
Boil it until sugar dissolves.
Add a few drops of lemon juice & turn off the stove & keep the pan aside.
Procedure for making Gulab Jamun:
Take a small bread dough & make it flat as shown in the video.
Take a small ball of Khoya & stuff it in the middle of bread dough & make a round ball.
Heat oil, add the Jamun & fry the Jamun on medium heat until they become golden brown color.
Add the fried Gulab Jamun in sugar syrup & rest it for few minutes.
Serve the Jamun warm. Enjoy
