Chamadumpa (Arbi/Colocasia) Mutton

This is a tasty non-vegetarian recipe, prepared with mutton and colocasia. As colocasia is used it is rich in carbohydrates. Serve hot with rice or chapatti.

Ingredients:
300 Grams Chamdumpa (Arbi)
500 Grams Mutton
2 Tablespoons Oil
2 Medium Onions
1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
5 Teaspoon Chili Powder
Salt as per taste
1/2 Cup Tamarind Water
1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
Coriander leaves for garnish
Method:
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pressure cooker, and add 2 chopped medium onions, fry until onions changes color.
Add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, and mix well.
Add 500 Grams mutton & mix well.
Add 5 teaspoon chili powder, salt as per taste. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.
Add some water & mix well.
Add 300 Grams Chamdumpa (Arbi) & mix well.
Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Once the pressure releases, remove the lid and add 1/2 cup tamarind water and mix well.
Add 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala and mix well.
Add Coriander Leaves for garnish and turn off the stove.
