Chicken Meat Balls Biryani

Chicken Meat Balls Biryani recipe or the Koftas biryani can be made with any kind of minced meat. Serve this delicious, hearty dish with a green salad and raita of your choice.

Ingredients:


For Meatballs:

  • 500 Grams Minced Chicken

  • 2 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 1 Tablespoon Red Chili Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder

  • 2 Tablespoon Coriander Powder

  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Salt

  • 1 Tablespoon Jeera Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

  • 1 Cup Fried Onions

  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Dry Coconut Powder

  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Chickpeas Flour

  • 1 Cup Coriander Leaves

  • 1 Cup Mint Leaves

  • 2 Green Chilies


For Gravy:

  • 2 Tomatoes

  • 1 Onion

  • 1 Green Chili

  • 10 Cashews

  • 1 Tablespoon Red Chili Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Jeera Powder

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Salt

  • 1 Tablespoon Coriander Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Fennel Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Sour Cream


For Rice:

  • 3 Cups Basmati Rice

  • 8 Cups Water

  • 2 Tablespoons Ghee

  • 1 Teaspoon Shah Jeera

  • 5 Cardamoms

  • 5 Cloves

  • 2 Cinnamon

  • 2 Bay Leaves

  • 1 Tablespoon Salt

  • Coriander Leaves

  • Mint Leaves


Method:

  1. In a grinder, take 500 grams minced chicken, add 2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste, 1 tablespoon red chili powder, 1 tablespoon turmeric powder, 2 tablespoon coriander powder, 1 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon Jeera powder, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 cup fried onions, 1 1/2 cup dry coconut powder, 1 1/2 chickpeas flour, 1 cup coriander leaves, 2 green chilies, 1 cup mint leaves. Grind it into a fine texture.

  2. Take the mixture into a plate. Apply oil to hands and make small balls with the mix.

  3. Fry the Meatballs in oil on medium heat until golden brown and take the meatballs aside.

  4. In a grinder, add 2 tomatoes, 1 onion, 1 green chili, and 10 cashews & grind all together for a puree.

  5. Put 2 tablespoons oil in a pan and puree and sauté it for a minute.

  6. Add 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 tablespoon Jeera powder, 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, 1 tablespoon fennel powder, and sauté it until oil separates.

  7. Once the oil oozes out, add 1 tablespoon curd, 1 tablespoon sour cream, and mix well.

  8. Once the gravy is cooked, take some sauce aside to add it to the biryani.

  9. Now add the Meatballs and mix well

Procedure for biryani:

  1. Take 3 cups basmati rice soaked for an hour.

  2. Now in a pan, boil 8 cups of water and add 2 tablespoons ghee, 1 tablespoon shah Jeera, 5 cardamoms, 5 cloves, 2 cinnamon, 2 bay leaves, 1 tablespoon salt, a cup of coriander, and pudina.

  3. And pre-soaked basmati rice, cook the rice until it is 80% done and take it aside.

  4. Add rice on the top of the Meatballs.

  5. Add fried onions, one tablespoon ghee, chopped coriander, the Separated gravy of Meatballs, 1 tablespoon color on the top of the rice.

  6. Cover it with the foil and close the lid tightly and cook it on low heat for 20 minutes.

  7. After 20 minutes, please take out the top and serve it hot.
