Chicken Tikki / Chicken Cutlets

This chicken cutlet is also referred to as chicken patties or chicken Tikki. These chicken cutlets are made into a round shape and coated with breadcrumbs and shallow fried/deep-fried. These chicken cutlets taste best by eating them plain or by having them along with ketchup.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pound Chicken Keema

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander Powder

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

  • 3 Chopped Green Chilies

  • 2 Tablespoon Coriander Leaves

  • 2 Tablespoon Mint Leaves

  • 2 Tablespoons Oats Powder

  • 2 Tablespoons Cornflour

  • 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs

Method:

  1. Take a bowl and add 1 pound chicken keema, one tablespoon red chili powder, 1 egg, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala, 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon salt, 3 chopped green chili, 2 tablespoon coriander leaves, 2 tablespoon mint leaves, two tablespoons oats powder, 2 tablespoons cornflour, 1/2 cup bread crumbs and mix it well.

  2. Apply some oil in hand and make a patty shape and keep aside.

  3. Put a pan and add 3 tablespoons of oil.

  4. Roll the patties in bread crumbs and shallow fry in oil.

  5. Fry the patties on both sides until well done.

  6. Take the patties and put on a paper towel & enjoy it.
