Dhaba Style Paneer Bhurji

This quick and simple vegetarian popular North Indian recipe made from crumble paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese). Goes well with Indian bread like paratha/Naan or on top of toast.

200 Grams Paneer
2 Medium Onions
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Big Tomato
3 Green Chilies
1 Small Capsicum
1 1/2 Teaspoon Chili Powder
Salt as per taste
1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
1 Teaspoon Chat Masala
Coriander Leaves for Garnish
Heat 2 tablespoon of oil and add 2 medium chopped Onions.
Fry until onion changes color. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste & sauté it well.
Add 1 big chopped tomato, 3 Green Chilies & mix well.
Add one chopped small capsicum, 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, salt as per taste and mix well. Close the lid and cook until oil separates.
Add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon chat masala & mix well.
Add 200 gm mashed paneer & mix well.
Add coriander leaves and turn off the stove.8. Serve the paneer bhurji with Roti or Naan.
