Easy Homemade - Motichoor Ladoo

Motichoor Ladoo is made with chickpea flour/besan. Tiny drops of Chickpea flour batter are deep-fried and then mixed with sugar syrup and then shaped into round balls. This sweet is offered to many Indian God and Goddesses on various festivals and auspicious day.

Ingredients:
For Batter:
2 Cups Chickpeas Flour
2 Cups Water
1/4 Cup Baking Soda
A Pinch of Orange Red Color
For Syrup:
2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Water
Cardamom Powder
Other Ingredients:
Ghee
Method:
Take 2 cups of chickpeas flour in a bowl and add 2 cups of water slowly. Make a smooth batter with any lumps.
Add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, a pinch of orange-red color, and mix well.
Heat oil in a Kadai and make Boondi. Pour 1 ladle of batter to the Boondi Jhara with another ladle to help the batter drop off easily to the hot oil.
As soon as the Boondi is dropped, a lot of bubbles come up. Once the bubbles begin reduces, take the Boondi out. DON'T MAKE IT CRUNCHY.
Put the fried Boondi in the grinder and make a coarse powder.
In a pot add 2 cups of sugar and add 2 cups of water.
Mix until all the sugar dissolves and boil it for 5 minutes.
Add cardamom powder and coarse Boondi to the sugar syrup. Mix Well.
Add 1/4 cup Mellon seeds and mix well.
Turn off the stove.
Grease your hands with ghee and make Ladoo.
