Kanafeh/Kunefe (Sweet Cheese Pastry)

Kanafeh is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made with thin noodle-like pastry, sugar-based syrup, and layered with cheese sprinkled with crushed pistachios or walnuts. Crispy on the outside and melting on the inside, this delicately dessert is a real treat.


Ingredients:


  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Water

  • 1 Tablespoon Rose Water

  • Orange zest

  • 250 Grams Pheni

  • 1/4 Cup Butter

  • Ricotta Cheese

  • 1/2 Cup Shredded & Mozzarella Cheese

  • Pistachios Powder
