Paneer Popcorn

Paneer Popcorn is a quick, healthy lip-smacking snack made with fresh paneer (Indian cottage cheese), mixed with spices and herbs and tossed with breadcrumbs to give that extra punch to taste.

Ingredients:

  • 200 Grams Paneer

  • 1 Tablespoon Cornflour

  • 1/4 Cup Maida (All Purpose Flour)

  • 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder

  • Salt as per taste

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vinegar

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Mixed Herbs

  • 1 Teaspoon Soya Sauce

  • 1/4 Cup Bread Crumbs

Method:

  1. Take 200 grams paneer cubes in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon cornflour, salt as per taste, 1/2 teaspoon vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs, 1 teaspoon soya sauce and mix well, Keep it aside for 5 minutes.

  2. On a plate, take 1/4 cup maida (all-purpose flour), add1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 spoon salt, & mix well.

  3. Coat the paneer in bread crumbs mixture.

  4. Deep fry till golden brown.
