Pepper Mushroom is an easy and flavored south Indian starter or side dish recipe made with sliced mushroom and pepper powder.

  • 200 Grams Mushroom

  • 1 Medium Onion

  • 1 Medium Tomatoes

  • 3 Tablespoons Coriander Leaves

  • 4 Chopped Green Chilies

  • 1 Tablespoon Pepper Powder

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 1 Teaspoon Salt


  1. In a kadhai, heat two tablespoons oil and add Jeera, add 1 cup chopped onions, add green chilies, and mix it well.

  2. Close the lid and cook it for 2 minutes, or onions are golden light brown.

  3. Add one tablespoon ginger garlic paste, add half tablespoon turmeric powder, add one chopped tomato and mix it well, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.

  4. Open the cover and mix it well. Now add mushrooms.

  5. Add pepper powder, one tablespoon salt, and mix it well, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.

  6. Open the cover and mix well, add chopped coriander and mix well and turn off the stove.
