Quick & Easy Kesari Phirni

Phirni or Firni is a traditional Kashmiri dessert which is made using milk and rice. This Mughlai sweet is a treat to eat and is very easy to make.

1/2 Cup Basmati Rice
1 Liter Full Fat Milk
1 Can Condensed Milk
1 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
2 Pinch Saffron
1/4 Cup Chopped Pistachios
Soak 1/2 Cup Basmati Rice for 5 hours.
Dry the rice on a paper towel and make a coarse powder.
Add 1-liter Full Fat Milk in a pot.
Add the rice powder, mix continuously until the rice is cooked.
Add 1 Can Condense Milk & mix well.
Add 1 teaspoon elachi powder, 2 Pinch Saffron.
Add 1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Pistachios.
Boil until the milk is thick, as shown in the video.
Served chilled & enjoy.
