Raw Mango Jam (Chunda/Murabba)

A delicious homemade raw mango jam (Chunda/Murabba), perfect for the mango season. It’s an easy and delicious recipe.

  • 3 Cups Grated Raw Mango

  • 3 Cups Sugar

  • 2 Pinches Saffron

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder


  1. Peel the skin from raw mango. Grate the mango and keep it aside.

  2. Add 3 cups grated mango in the pan and add 3 cups of sugar.

  3. Mix well until all the sugar dissolves and boil for 5 minutes.

  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon saffron and mix well.

  5. Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes. Mix occasionally.

  6. Cook until the jam is thick and add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder.

  7. Turn off the stove. Enjoy the mango jam with bread.
