Chicken Majestic – is a dry chicken appetizer recipe straight from the take out joints of Hyderabad, India, but home-made. It’s fried chicken coated in a spicy, tangy yogurt-based sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 500 Grams Chicken

  • 1 Teaspoon Pepper Powder

  • 2 Teaspoons Salt

  • 1 Egg

  • 5 Tablespoons Cornflour

  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder

  • 10 -15 Cashew Nuts

  • 1/2 Cup Mint

  • 6 Clove Chopped Garlic

  • 3/4 Cup Curd

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 4 Green Chilies

  • 10 Curry Leaves

Method:

  1. Take 500 grams of boneless chicken and cut it in strips.

  2. In the same bowl, add pepper powder, 1 tablespoon salt, 2 tablespoon cornflour, add one egg and mix well, marinate it for 30 minutes.

  3. Fry the chicken strips in hot oil.

  4. Heat a pan & add 1 tablespoon oil and add chopped garlic, sauté it for 30 seconds.

  5. Add green chilies, curry leaves, cashew nuts and sauté for 1 minute

  6. Add mint leaves and mix well, add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, chili powder, curd and mix well.

  7. Add chicken pieces and fry until it becomes dry.

  8. Add chopped cilantro & mix well. Serve hot & Enjoy.
