Shahi Sheer Khurma

Sheer Khurma is a rich vermicelli pudding made with milk, lots of nuts, dates and sugar! Its often made during Eid in the Indian subcontinent, Afghanistan and also parts of central Asia. Eid festivities are kind of incomplete until and unless you have Sheer Khurma!

1/4 Cup Chironji
1/4 Cup Pistachios
1/4 Cup Mellon Seeds
1/4 Cup Cashews
1/4 Cup Almonds
1/4 Cup Dates
1 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
5 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Can Condensed Milk
2 Tablespoon Ghee
1 Big Bowl Vermicelli
1 Liter Half & Half
Add one tablespoon ghee in a cooking bowl & Add 1/4 cup chironji, 1/4 cup pistachios, 1/4 cup Mellon seeds, 1/4 cup cashews, 1/4 cup almonds, 1/4 cup dates, 1 Teaspoon cardamom powder.
Fry until the nice aromatic smell.
Add 1 tablespoon ghee & add vermicelli.
Fry until 3 minutes, don't burn it.
In a pot, boil 1 1/2 liter milk, stirring occasionally.
Add condensed milk & mix it until it dissolves.
Add 5 tablespoons sugar.
Add 1 teaspoon cardamom powder.
Add fried nuts & mix it well for 1 minute.
Add the vermicelli & mix well, boil until vermicelli is cooked.
Turn off the stove & enjoy.
