Simple & Easy Kadai Paneer

Paneer and bell peppers cooked in a spicy masala. This restaurant-style Kadai Paneer gets its unique flavor from freshly ground spices like coriander and garam masala! Enjoy it with naan or paratha.

Ingredients:

  • 300 Grams Paneer Cubes

  • 1 Large Red Onion

  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion cubes

  • 1 Large Tomato

  • 1 Medium Capsicum Cubes

  • 1/4 Cup Coriander Leaves

  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder

  • 1/2 Tsp Sugar

  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt

  • 2 Tablespoons Cashew Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Shah Jeera

  • 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Jeera Powder

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala

Method:

  1. Take fresh paneer and cut it into cubes.

  2. Fry paneer in hot oil until it becomes light golden brown & takes the fried Paneer and keep it aside.

  3. In the same pan add onions and fry them for 3 minutes. Now add tomatoes and fry until soft.

  4. Add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste & mix it well. Turn off the stove & let it cool and grind it into a smooth paste.

  5. In a Kadai add 1 tablespoon oil, add 1 teaspoon shah Jeera.

  6. Add the ground paste and cook for 5 minutes.

  7. Add capsicum cubes add onion cubes and mix well.

  8. Add 1 tablespoon red chili powder, 1tablespoon salt, coriander powder, Jeera powder, garam masala powder, cashew powder, and mix well.

  9. Add 1 cup water cook add 1 teaspoon Kasuri Methi and mix well

  10. Add the fried paneer and mix well.

  11. Add fresh cilantro mix well and turn off the stove.
