Ingredients:

  • 500 Grams Chicken

  • 3 Tablespoons Oil

  • 2 Chopped Onion

  • 3 Green chilies

  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 2 Teaspoons Black Pepper Powder

  • Salt as per taste

  • 1 Cup water

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander Powder

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala

  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

  • Coriander Leaves

Method:

  1. Heat 3 tablespoons oil, add 2 chopped onions, and 3 green chilies. Sauté well and cook until the onions are golden brown.

  2. Add 1/2 teaspoons turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, and sauté well.

  3. Add 500 grams chicken and mix well. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.

  4. Now add 2 teaspoons black pepper powder, salt as per taste and mix well. Close the lid and cook for 5 more minutes.

  5. Add 1 cup water and cook for another 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked.

  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and coriander leaves.

  7. Mix well and turn off the stove. Enjoy the pepper chicken with roti or white rice.
