Spicy Chili Garlic Noodles

Chili garlic noodles is an Indian-Chinese dish made by tossing boiled noodles in a spicy chili garlic sauce with loads of vegetables. Chili garlic noodles can be served with Gobi Manchurian or Veg Manchurian.

Ingredients:


For Boiling Noodles:

  • 500 Grams Noodles

  • 1 Tablespoon Oil

  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

For Seasoning:

  • 1 Tablespoon Oil

  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Garlic

  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Green Chilies

  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Spring Onions

  • 1 Cup Shredded Carrots

  • 1 Cup Sliced Capsicum

  • 2 Tablespoons Vinegar

  • 2 Tablespoons Soya Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons Tomato Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons Chili Garlic Sauce

  • 3/4 Teaspoon Salt

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper Powder

Method:

  1. Boil water in a pot and add 500 grams of veg noodles. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon oil, and cook the noodles for 5 minutes.

  2. Drain the water and add 1 tablespoon oil to the noodles. Mix well and keep it aside.

  3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil, add 1 tablespoon chopped garlic, 1 tablespoon chopped green chilies, and sauté for 30 seconds.

  4. Add 1/2 cup chopped spring onions and sauté for 30 seconds.

  5. Add 1 cup shredded carrots, 1 cup sliced capsicum, and sauté for 1 minute.

  6. Add 2 tablespoons vinegar, 2 tablespoons soya sauce, 2 tablespoons tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce and mix well for 30 seconds.

  7. Add boiled noodles and mix well.

  8. Add 3/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder and stir fry for 2 minutes.
