Stir Fry Idli (Leftover Idli)

Masala/Stir Fry Idli is a mildly spiced sautéed dish made from leftover idli's. Stir fry the idli's with onion-tomato mixture and seasoned with some spices. Enjoy with coconut chutney.

4 Leftover Idly’s
1 Tablespoon Oil
1/2 Teaspoon Jeera
1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
1/2 Cup Chopped Onions
3 Chopped Green Chillies
Few Curry Leaves
1/2 Cup Chopped Tomatoes
1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
2 Teaspoons Idly Powder
Take 4 leftover idli's. Mash the idli's and keep it aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil, add 1/2 teaspoon Jeera, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 cup chopped onions, 3 chopped green chilies, few curry leaves and sauté well.
Add 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes and cook until tomatoes are soft.
Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and mix well.
Add mashed idli and sauté well.
Add 2 teaspoons idli powder and stir fry for 1 minute.
Add chopped coriander leaves and turn off the stove.
