Almond Chicken Recipe is a rich chicken gravy recipe, that uses almonds as the base of the gravy. Succulent pieces of chicken simmered in this flavorful gravy. Serve hot with roti or rice.
- 500 Grams Chicken
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 Tablespoon Red Chili Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Curd
- 15 Almonds
- 1 Tomato
- Salt as per taste
- 1 Teaspoon Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Onion
- 1/2 Fried Onions
- 1/4 Cup Almond Paste
- Coriander for Garnish
Take 500 grams chicken and add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 tablespoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 tablespoons curd, and mix well. Marinate for 2 hours.
In a jar, add 15 almonds, 1 tomato, and grind it to a smooth paste.
Heat 1 teaspoon oil, add 2 tablespoons butter, Add 1 teaspoon shah Jeera.
Add 1 chopped onions, add curry leaves, and fry until light brown. Now add 1 green chili, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, and 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste.
Add the marinated chicken, Sauté it until the oil separates.
Add 1/4 cup almond & tomato paste, cover with the lid and cook for 1 minute.
Add 1/2 cup fried onions.
Once the fried onions are cooked, add 1/4 cup of almond paste.
Cover the top and cook for a minute.
Once the chicken is cooked, turn off the stove & garnish it with coriander.
