Baby Corn Makhani is a great side dish for rotis and mild pulao or jeera rice. Baby corn is a wonderful crunchy vegetable and easily gets blended with any masala.
Ingredients
- 500 Grams Baby Corn
- 1/2 Teaspoon Shah Jeera
- 2 Sticks Cinnamon
- 1 Bowl Onion Paste
- 1 Bowl Tomato Puree
- 2 Teaspoons Chili Powder
- Salt as per taste
- 3 Green Chilies
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon Cashew Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
- 3 Tablespoons Cream
- Chopped Coriander for Garnish
Method
Step 1
Heat oil a Kadai and fry the baby corn, and take them into a plate.
Step 2
Add 2 tablespoons of oil in the same Kadai, add Shah Jeera and cinnamon, add onion paste and fry until onion changes color.
Step 3
Add tomato puree and fry until oil ooze out.
Step 4
Add 2 tablespoons chili powder add salt as per taste.
Step 5
Add 3 slit Chillies, add 1 1/2 tablespoon cashew nut powder, add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, add some water and mix well.
Step 6
Add the fried baby corn and mix well.
Step 7
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix well.
Step 8
Add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, add 1 teaspoon Kasuri methi, add chopped coriander, add 3 tablespoons cream and mix well.
