A flavor-filled shrimp curry with an aromatic coconut cooks in no time from scratch. A very authentic taste, and a very easy meal to make. Serve it with Naan or rice.
Ingredients
- 400 Grams Shrimp
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Shah Jeera
- 1 Onion
- 4-5 Curry Leaves
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 Tomato
- 2 Teaspoons Red Chili Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 Teaspoon Jeera Powder
- 1/2 Cup Coconut & Coriander Paste
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Milk
- Coriander Leaves for Garnish
Method
Step 1
Take 400 grams of shrimp, add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, and mix well.
Step 2
Fry the shrimp for a minute on medium heat, Fry until water is evaporated, and take them aside.
Step 3
Add 1 tablespoon oil, 1 teaspoon Shah Jeera, 1 chopped onion, and sauté until translucent.
Step 4
Add 4-5 curry leaves, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, sauté it until the rawness goes away.
Step 5
Add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 chopped tomato, and mix well.
Step 6
Once tomatoes are soft, add 2 teaspoons red chili powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon Jeera powder, and mix well.
Step 7
Add 1/2 cup coconut and coriander paste ground together.
Step 8
Once the oil starts to separates, add the shrimp and mix well, cover the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 9
Add 1/4 cup coconut milk and sauté it and cover the lid and cook for a minute.
Step 10
Once the shrimp is cooked, turn off the stove and add coriander Leaves for Garnish.
