Creamy Methi Malai Paneer is a wonderful paneer curry with fresh fenugreek leaves. Great with any Indian bread!
Ingredients
- 200 Grams Paneer
- 1 Cup Fresh Methi
- 1 Cup Onions Paste
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Shah Jeera
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 Cup Tomato Puree
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Red Chili Powder
- 3/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Jeera Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 3 Teaspoon Cashew Powder
- 1/2 Cup Water
Method
Step 1
Heat 1 tablespoon oil and add 1/2 teaspoon shah Jeera.
Step 2
Add 1 cup onion paste and sauté for 3 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and sauté.
Step 3
Add half cup tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons red chili powder, 3/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon Jeera powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, and mix well.
Step 5
Add 3 teaspoons of cashew powder and mix well.
Step 6
Add 1 cup chopped methi leaves, mix it well and fry for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Add 1/2 cup water and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 8
Add 1 cup of fresh cream and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 9
Add a few cashew pieces and 200 gm paneer cubes.
Step 10
Add 1 spoon of sugar and fresh coriander leaves.
Step 11
12. Mix it well and turn off the stove.
