Capsicum Malai Egg recipe is a rich, Delicious & healthy curry. A perfect recipe for the times when you want to make special gravy using simple but one most versatile ingredients eggs. The egg curry pairs well with roti, paratha, naan, and even as a side to steamed plain rice or flavored rice dishes like Jeera rice.
Ingredients
- 4 Boiled Eggs
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Jeera Seeds
- 1 Cup Onions
- 1 Chopped Capsicum
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tomato
- 3 Green Chilies
- 5-6 Cashews
- 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Tablespoon Cream
Method
Step 1
Grate 4 boiled eggs and keep them aside.
Step 2
In a pan, add 2 tablespoons oil, 1 teaspoon Jeera seeds, 1 cup onion paste, fry it until slightly brown.
Step 3
Add 1 chopped capsicum, sauté well.
Step 4
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, add 1 tomato, 3 green chilies, 5-6 cashews paste ground altogether and sauté until oil separates.
Step 5
Add 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoon cream, and mix well.
Step 6
Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Once the gravy is cooked, add grated eggs and mix everything well.
Step 8
Cover the top again and cook for 5 more minutes.
Step 9
Add 2 tablespoon cream and turn off the stove and take it into a bowl.
