This Tindora Butter Masala tastes delicious and is best served with Biryani. You can also serve this delicious Masala along with Tawa Paratha/Whole Wheat Lachha Paratha and a Raita.
Ingredients
- 300 Grams Tindora
- 1/2 Teaspoon Butter
- 1/4 Cup Peanuts
- 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Seed
- 2 Dry Kashmiri Chilies
- 1/2 Cup Onions
- Few Curry Leaves
- 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Jeera Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Milk
- Coriander Leaves
Method
Step 1
In a pan, add 1/2 teaspoon butter, 1/4 cup peanuts, 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, 2 dry Kashmiri chilies, and sauté it for a minute.
Step 2
Add 1/2 cup onions and sauté it until onions are translucent.
Step 3
Take the mixture into a grinder and grind it to a smooth paste.
Step 4
Take 300 grams tindora and split them as shown in the video.
Step 5
Add 1 spoon of oil and sauté all the tindora.
Step 6
Sauté it on medium heat until they become tender.
Step 7
Once the tindora is soft, take them aside.
Step 8
Add 2 spoons of butter, few curry leaves, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon jeera powder, 2 tablespoons chili powder, 1 tablespoon salt, and cook the masalas for a minute.
Step 9
Add the ground paste and cook until the oil separates.
Step 10
Now add the tindora and mix well, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 11
Add 1/4 cup coconut milk and mix well.
Step 12
Add 1/4 cup water and cook until the oil separates.
Step 13
Once the tindora is cooked, garnish it with coriander leaves and turn off the stove.
