Ragi dosa is a healthy breakfast from South Indian cuisine made with finger millet. You can serve for breakfast, brunch, or in the lunch box.
- 1 Cup Rice
- 1 Cup Urad Dal
- 1 Cup Ragi Flour
- 1/2 Teaspoon Methi Seeds
- 2 Teaspoons Chana Dal
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Sugar
In a bowl, add 1 cup rice, 1 cup urad dal, 1/2 teaspoon methi seeds, 2 teaspoons chana dal. Wash the dal with water and drain out the water.
Add fresh water and soak it for 6-7 hours.
Add the soaked dal to the grinder, add 1 cup of ragi four and make a smooth batter.
Take the batter to the bowl and ferment it overnight.
Mix the fermented batter well and add 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 teaspoon sugar. Mix well.
Add 2 scoops of dosa batter to the pan and immediately begin to spread in a circular motion. Make the circle until you reach the edge of the pan.
Add chopped green chilies, chopped ginger, chopped onion, sprinkle jeera, and 1/2 teaspoon oil on top of the dosa.
Slowly take the dosa from the edges and fold the dosa.
Take it to the serving plate and serve hot with chutney.
