Honey Chili Paneer a simple and tasty recipe. It can be served as a starter. It is made with paneer with a combination of honey and chili sauce.

Ingredients

  • 200 Grams Paneer
  • 1 Tablespoons Cornflour
  • 2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper Powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for Deep Fry
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Capsicum (Red/Yellow/Green)
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 3 Green Chilies
  • 1 Tablespoon Soya Sauce
  • 1/2 Onion Petals
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Spring Onions
  • Sesame Seeds for Garnish
  • Coriander Leaves for Garnish

Method

Step 1

Take 2 tablespoons cornflour in a bowl, 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, salt as per taste, add 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder, water as required, and make a batter. Add paneer cubes.

Step 2

Heat oil and deep fry the paneer cubes, take out the paneer and keep them aside.

Step 3

Heat 2 tablespoons oil and add 2 teaspoons chopped garlic, add 2 teaspoons chopped green chilies, sauté it.

Step 4

Add 1 cup onion cubes, add 1 cup capsicum (Red/Yellow/Green), and sauté it.

Step 5

Add 1 tablespoon soya sauce, 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce, 1 teaspoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 cup water.

Step 6

Add 1/2 cup spring onions, add coriander leaves, and mix well.

Step 7

Add 3 tablespoons of cornflour water to thicken the gravy.

Step 8

Add paneer cubes and mix well.
