Jeera aloo, a flavourful & delicious North Indian side dish made with potatoes, spices, and herbs. This simple recipe gets done in minutes and goes so well with a side of bread.
- 3 Boiled & Chopped Potatoes
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Ghee
- 3 Teaspoons Jeera
- 1 Teaspoon Roughly Chopped Ginger
- 1 Teaspoon Crushed Coriander Seeds
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Jeera Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Amchur Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
Add 1 tablespoon oil and 1 teaspoon ghee in a pan. Add 3 teaspoons of jeera, 1 teaspoon roughly chopped ginger, 1 teaspoon crushed coriander seeds, and sauté well.
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon jeera powder, 1 teaspoon amchur powder, and mix well.
Now, add 3 boiled and chopped potatoes. Slowly mix the potatoes and add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon Kasuri methi and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Add chopped coriander leaves and turn off the stove. Serve it hot and enjoy.
