Malai Laddu is a rich and delicious homemade sweet dessert. Malai Laddus has a creamy texture, and they taste amazing!
Ingredients (For Paneer)
- 1 Liter Milk
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 Cup Vinegar
Ingredients (For Khoya)
- 1 Tablespoon Ghee
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Cup Milk Powder
Ingredients (For Laddu)
- 1 Cup Condensed Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Rose Water
- Edible Silver Foil
- Saffron for Garnish
Method
Step 1
In a saucepan, add 1-liter milk and 1 cup heavy cream. Keep stirring until the milk is boiling.
Step 2
Add 1/4 cup of vinegar or lemon juice in boiling milk. Once the milk curdles, turn off the stove. Strain the water and keep the paneer aside.
Step 3
Heat 1 tablespoon ghee and add 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1 cup milk powder and mix well without forming lumps. Keep stirring it until the mixture leaves the pan.
Step 4
Once the khoya is ready, add the paneer and mix it together. Keep stirring it until it forms a dough.
Step 5
Add 1 cup condensed milk and 1 tablespoon rose water. Mix continuously until it forms a dough.
Step 6
Once it forms dough texture, turn off the stove. Take it aside.
Step 7
Grease the hands with ghee and make laddu with your hands. Press the laddu gently.
Step 8
Decorate with edible silver foil and saffron. Enjoy yummy malai laddu.
