Masala Oats porridge is a vegan and healthy breakfast recipe. It is quick and easy to make dish loaded with vegetables and flavorful spices.
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Onions
- 4 Chopped Green Chillies
- Few Curry Leaves
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Tomatoes
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Green Beans
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Carrot and Peas
- 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pav Bhaji Masala
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 1/4 Cup Water
- 1 Cup Oats
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
Method
Step 1
Heat 1 tablespoon oil, add 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 cup onions, 4 green chilies, few curry leaves, and sauté for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Step 3
Add 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes, 1/4 cup green beans, 1/4 cup carrot & peas, and stir fry for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/4 teaspoon pav bhaji powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and mix well.
Step 5
Add 1 1/4 cup water. Once the water is boiling, add 1 cup of oats and cook until oats are well done.
Step 6
Add chopped coriander leaves and turn off the stove.
