This recipe is surprisingly easy on the spices, yet ends up being amazingly flavorful. The yogurt does the job of adding much needed tang perfectly. It goes well with white rice.
Ingredients
- 200 Grams Fish
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 3/4 Teaspoon Jeera Methi Powder
- 1/2 Cup Curd
- 1 Medium Onion
- 3 Green Chilies
- Few Curry Leaves
- Coriander Leaves for Garnish
Method
Step 1
Take 200 grams of fish cubes in a bowl, add 1/2 teaspoon Chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup yogurt, or curd & mix it well and keep it aside.
Step 2
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan and add chopped onions, fry until golden brown.
Step 3
Add Ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
Step 4
Add one chopped tomato, chopped green chilies, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, salt as per taste, 3/4 teaspoon Jeera methi powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder. Mix it well and cook for 1 minute.
Step 5
Add marinated fish and close the lid and cook for 2 minutes. Mix it gently, as shown in the video.
Step 6
Close the lid again and cook it for one minute.
Step 7
Turn the fish slowly.
Step 8
Add chopped coriander leaves, mix it and cook for 1 minute and turn off the stove.
