Nuvvula Laddu recipe or Nuvvula Unda is easy to make a sweet recipe using sesame seeds and jaggery(gud). These Ladoos not only taste delicious with a nutty aroma but are also rich in iron and calcium.
- 500 Grams Sesame Seeds
- 400 Grams Jaggery
- 1 Teaspoon Ghee
Add 500 grams of sesame seeds to a bowl. Add water and the sesame seeds. Drain out all the water and squeeze out all the excess water.
Dry roast sesame seeds on medium flame. Roast them until sesame seeds are dehydrated and light brown.
Add 400 grams jaggery in a pot and add 1/4 cup water.
Boil it until all the jaggery dissolves in water and turn off the stove.
Strain the jaggery water in a pan and boil it for 2 minutes. Jaggery should be stingy consistency.
Add 1 teaspoon ghee. When you put the jaggery in water, it should become a ball.
Add roasted sesame seeds in jaggery and mix well. Turn off the stove.
Apply little water to your hands and make small round balls.
Keep the ladoos in the open air for 4 hours and store them in the container.
