Paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor. It is a vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka and other meat dishes. It is a popular dish that is widely available in India.
It’s a famous Indian appetizer where paneer pieces (Indian cottages cheese) and marinated with yogurt, onion, bell pepper, spices, and then grilled until charred.
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Curd
- 1/2 Teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1/2 Teaspoon Chaat Masala
- 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- A pin of Orange-Red Color
Method
Step 1
In a bowl, add 1/2 cup curd, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon, 1/2 cup curd, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1/2 tablespoon chaat masala, a pinch of orange-red color and 1 tablespoon Oil. Mix all together.
Step 2
Add 1/2 cup capsicum cubes, ½ cup onion cubes & mix well.
Step 3
Add Paneer cubes and mix well.
Step 4
Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and marinate it for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Heat the griddle & add 1 tablespoon oil.
Step 6
Add the marinated mixture to the hot griddle and fry until the water content reduces.
