It is a breakfast recipe, which is spicy and prepared with thick vermicelli. This is purely a Telangana recipe; in olden days, they use to prepare this recipe with wheat noodles, especially those who are ready with hand.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Vermicelli
- 1/2 Cup Mint Leaves
- 1/2 Cup Coriander Leaves
- 1 Teaspoon Shah Jeera
- 3 Sticks Cinnamon
- 3 Sticks Cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Medium Onion
- 4 Green Chilies
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
- Few Curry Leaves
Method
Step 1
Boil water, add vermicelli in water & boil until it is cooked.
Step 2
Heat a big Kadai, add 2 tablespoons oil & add 1 teaspoon shah Jeera, add 3 cinnamon sticks, 4 green chilies, onions, curry leaves & mix well, fry for 2 minutes
Step 3
Add 1/2 turmeric powder and mix well.
Step 4
Add chopped mint and mix well.
Step 5
Add salt and mix well.
Step 6
Add boiled vermicelli and mix well.
Step 7
Add chopped cilantro and mix well.
Step 8
Squeeze lemon juice and turn off the stove.
