A delicious homemade raw mango jam (Chunda/Murabba), perfect for the mango season. It’s an easy and delicious recipe.
Ingredients
- 3 Cups Grated Raw Mango
- 3 Cups Sugar
- 2 Pinches Saffron
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
Method
Step 1
Peel the skin from raw mango. Grate the mango and keep it aside.
Step 2
Add 3 cups of grated mango to the pan and add 3 cups of sugar.
Step 3
Mix well until all the sugar dissolves and boil for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add 1/2 teaspoon saffron and mix well.
Step 5
Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes. Mix occasionally.
Step 6
Cook until the jam is thick, and add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder.
Step 7
Turn off the stove. Enjoy the mango jam with bread.
