Veg Manchurian is an addictive Indo-Chinese dish made with wisps of vegetables formed into dumplings and dunked into a sauce that explodes with hot, sweet, sour and salty flavors.
- 1 Cup Cabbage Finely Chopped and Squeezed
- 1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Carrot
- 1 Medium Finely Chopped Capsicum
- 1 Large Mashed Potato
- 2 Tablespoon Corn Flour
- 2 Tablespoon Maida (All Purpose Flour)
- Salt as per taste
- 2 Tablespoon Butter
- 7-8 Garlic Cloves Finely Chopped
- 2 Finely Chopped Green Chillies
- 2 Tablespoon Red Chili Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Soya Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
- 2 Teaspoon Corn Flour Starch
- Coriander Leaves
In a bowl, add 1 cup cabbage finely chopped and squeezed, 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot, 1 medium finely chopped capsicum, 1 large mashed potato, 2 tablespoons cornflour, 2 tablespoons maida (All Purpose Flour), salt as per taste, and mix all together.
Make small balls and keep them aside.
Heat oil in a Kadai and deep fry all the balls until brown in color. Keep it aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons of butter, add 7-8 finely chopped garlic, 2 finely chopped green chilies, and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add 2 tablespoon red chili sauce, 1 tablespoon soya sauce, 1 teaspoon vinegar, 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, a little salt, and mix well.
Add 2 teaspoons cornflour starch mixed in water and mix well.
Now add a fried Manchurian ball and mix well.
Turn off the stove and garnish it with coriander leaves.
