Paneer and bell peppers cooked in a spicy masala. This restaurant-style Kadai Paneer gets its unique flavor from freshly ground spices like coriander and garam masala! Enjoy it with naan or paratha.
Ingredients
- 300 Grams Paneer Cubes
- 1 Large Red Onion
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion Cubes
- 1 Medium Capsicum Cubes
- 1 Large Tomato
- 1/4 Cup Coriander Leaves
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Tablespoon Cashew Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi
- 1/2 Teaspoon Shah Jeera
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Jeera Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
Method
Step 1
Take fresh paneer and cut it into cubes.
Step 2
Fry paneer in hot oil until it becomes light golden brown & takes the fried Paneer, and keep it aside.
Step 3
In the same pan, add onions and fry them for 3 minutes. Now add tomatoes and fry until soft.
Step 4
Add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste & mix it well. Turn off the stove & let it cool and grind it into a smooth paste.
Step 5
In a Kadai add 1 tablespoon oil, add 1 teaspoon shah Jeera.
Step 6
Add the ground paste and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Add the ground paste and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 8
Add 1 tablespoon red chili powder, 1tablespoon salt, coriander powder, Jeera powder, garam masala powder, cashew powder, and mix well.
Step 9
Add 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon Kasuri Methi, and mix well
Step 10
Add the fried paneer and mix well.
Step 11
Add fresh cilantro mix well and turn off the stove.
