Coconut Barfi or Nariyal Barfi is a soft and delicious barfi or fudge with freshly grated coconut, milk, cardamom, and sugar as its main ingredients.
- 1 Whole Coconut
- 1 Teaspoon Ghee
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Teaspoon Elachi Powder
Take out the skin from the coconut and cut them into slices. Grind the coconut.
Heat 1 teaspoon ghee and add the grated coconut. Stir fry well and add 1 cup sugar.
Add 1 cup of milk and mix continuously until all the milk and sugar dissolves.
Add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix until the mixture leaves the Kadai. Turn off the stove.
Grease the plate with ghee and add the coconut mixture to the plate.
Press gently and set it. Cut them into pieces slowly and garnish them with cashews.
