Hyderabad is a famous region for many non-veg recipes apart from biryani recipes, and mutton recipes are in huge demand, mainly curry or gravy recipes that go best with naan or paratha recipes. Delicious soft, tender chunks of lamb meat in Indian style spiced onions and tomato gravy.
Ingredients
- 500 Grams Mutton
- 1 Large Onion
- 1 Large Tomato
- 1/4 Cup Coriander Leaves
- 2 Teaspoons Red Chili Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 Teaspoon Shah Jeera
Method
Step 1
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pressure cooker and add 1/2 teaspoon shah Jeera.
Step 2
Add 1 large chopped onion and sauté until light golden brown.
Step 3
Add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder. Mix well.
Step 4
Add 500 grams of mutton and mix well.
Step 5
Now add 2 teaspoons chili powder, 2 teaspoons salt, and mix well. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add tomato and close the pressure cooker lid. Cook up to 2 whistles.
Step 7
Once the pressure releases, take out the lid and add 1/4 teaspoon garam masala.
Step 8
Cook for 3 minutes and add chopped coriander leaves.
Step 9
Turn off the stove and enjoy with white rice.
