Lamb Chops with Broth Soup

Lamb chops marinated in yogurt and flavorsome masalas. Cooked till tender, this dish is a complete delight and easy flavorful meal that is perfect for special gatherings.

Ingredients:


For Chops:

  • 5-6 Lamb Chops

  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks

  • 4 Cloves4 Cardamoms

  • 2 cups of water

  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon Butter

For Marination:

  • 1/2 cup curd

  • 1/4 Cup Sour Cream

  • 2 Teaspoon Chili Powder

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 2 Teaspoons Coriander Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala1 Teaspoon Salt

  • 1 Teaspoon Mayonnaise

For Soup:

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter

  • 1 Teaspoon Finely Chopped Garlic

  • 1 Chopped Onion1 Chopped Carrot

  • 1/2 cup Peas

  • Salt as per taste

  • Mutton BrothWater

  • 1 Teaspoons Pepper Powder

  • 1 Beaten Egg

  • Spring Onions


Method:


For Cooking Chops:

  1. In a pressure cooker add 4-5 lamb chops.

  2. Add 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 cloves, 4 cardamoms, 2 cups water, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon butter and pressure cook up to 4 whistles.

  3. Once the pressure release takes out the chop to the plate. DON"T THROW THE WATER.

For Marination:

  1. Take a bow, add 1/2 cup curd, 1/4 cup sour cream, 2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons coriander powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon mayonnaise, and add lamb chops.

  2. Marinate it for 4 hours.

For Broth Soup:

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add 1 teaspoon garlic. Sauté until rawness goes away.

  2. Add 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped carrot, 1/2 cup peas, and sauté well.

  3. Add salt as per taste.

  4. Now add mutton broth, little water, and 1 teaspoon pepper powder.

  5. Boil the soup on low heat and add 1 beaten egg slowly.

  6. Boil it for 15 minutes and add spring onions.

  7. Turn off the stove.

For Grilling Chops:

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and fry the chops on low heat.

  2. After 15 minutes turn the chops to another side.

  3. Once the chops are well done on both sides, take it the serving plate and serve hot with broth soup.
