Schezwan Veg Fried Rice

Schezwan Fried Rice is an Indo-Chinese dish where rice is stir-fried along with a few sauces, seasoning, and veggies. This fried rice is popularly served with some Manchurian.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tablespoons Oil

  • 3 Cups Cooked Rice

  • 1 Teaspoon Chopped Garlic

  • 1 Teaspoon Chopped Green Chilies

  • 1/2 Cup Spring Onions

  • 1 Cup Chopped Carrots

  • 1 Cup Chopped Green Beans

  • 1 1/2 Cup Shredded Cabbage

  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

  • 3/4 Teaspoon Pepper Powder

  • 2 Teaspoons Vinegar

  • 2 Teaspoons Soya Sauce

  • 3 Tablespoons Schezwan Sauce

Method:

  1. Heat 2 tablespoon oil, add 1 teaspoon chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies, and Sauté for 30 seconds.

  2. Add 1/2 spring onions, 1 cup chopped carrots, 1 cup chopped beans, and sauté for 2 minutes.

  3. Add 1 1/2 cup cabbage and mix well.

  4. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 3/4 teaspoon pepper powder, 2 teaspoon vinegar, 2 teaspoon soya sauce, and mix well.

  5. Add 3 tablespoon Schezwan sauce and mix well.

  6. Add 3 cup cooked rice. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes.

  7. Mix again and turn off the stove. Serve with Manchurian.
