Lamb chops marinated in yogurt and flavorsome masalas. Cooked till tender, this dish is a complete delight and easy flavorful meal that is perfect for special gatherings.
Ingredients (For Chops)
- 5-6 Lamb Chops
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 4 Cloves4 Cardamoms
- 2 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Butter
Ingredients (For Marination)
- 1/2 Cup Curd
- 1/4 Cup Sour Cream
- 2 Teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Coriander Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Mayonnaise
Ingredients (For Soup)
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Teaspoon Finely Chopped Garlic
- 1 Chopped Onion1 Chopped Carrot
- 1/2 cup Peas
- Salt as per taste
- Mutton Broth Water
- 1 Teaspoons Pepper Powder
- 1 Beaten Egg
- Spring Onions
Method (For Chops)
- In a pressure cooker add 4-5 lamb chops.
- Add 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 cloves, 4 cardamoms, 2 cups water, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon butter and pressure cook up to 4 whistles.
- Once the pressure release takes out the chop to the plate. DON”T THROW THE WATER.
Method (For Marination)
- Take a bow, add 1/2 cup curd, 1/4 cup sour cream, 2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons coriander powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon mayonnaise, and add lamb chops.
- Marinate it for 4 hours.
Method (For Broth Soup)
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add 1 teaspoon garlic. Sauté until rawness goes away.
- Add 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped carrot, 1/2 cup peas, and sauté well.
- Add salt as per taste.
- Now add mutton broth, little water, and 1 teaspoon pepper powder.
- Boil the soup on low heat and add 1 beaten egg slowly.
- Boil it for 15 minutes and add spring onions.
- Turn off the stove.
Method (For Grilling Chops)
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and fry the chops on low heat.
- After 15 minutes turn the chops to another side.
- Once the chops are well done on both sides, take it to the serving plate and serve hot with broth soup.
