Sarson Ka Saag is a traditional Punjabi dish made with Mustard Leaves. Rajma Saag dish prepared by soaked kidney beans and saag in minimal spices. This dish makes for a very healthy side dish for phulkhas or roti.
- 1 Cup Soaked Rajma
- 2 Cups Chopped Onions
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Ginger Garlic Paste
- Chopped Saag
- 2 Tablespoons Green Chili Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
Heat 2 tablespoons oil and add 2 cups chopped onions. Sauté until onions are light golden brown.
Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste, and mix well.
Add 1 cup soaked rajma, chopped saag, 2 tablespoons green chili paste, 1 teaspoon salt, and mix well.
Close the lid and cook until the saag is well done. Make sure there is no water.
Add 1 tablespoon butter and turn off the stove.
