Schezwan Fried Rice is an Indo-Chinese dish where rice is stir-fried along with a few sauces, seasoning, and veggies. This fried rice is popularly served with some Manchurian.
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- 3 Cups Cooked Rice
- 1 Teaspoon Chopped Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon Chopped Green Chilies
- 1/2 Cup Spring Onions
- 1 Cup Chopped Carrots
- 1 Cup Chopped Green Beans
- 1 1/2 Cup Shredded Cabbage
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 Teaspoon Pepper Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Vinegar
- 2 Teaspoons Soya Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons Schezwan Sauce
Method
Step 1
Heat 2 tablespoon oil, add 1 teaspoon chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies, and Sauté for 30 seconds.
Step 2
Add 1/2 spring onions, 1 cup chopped carrots, 1 cup chopped beans, and sauté for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Add 1 1/2 cup cabbage and mix well.
Step 4
Add 1 teaspoon salt, 3/4 teaspoon pepper powder, 2 teaspoon vinegar, 2 teaspoon soya sauce, and mix well.
Step 5
Add 3 tablespoon Schezwan sauce and mix well.
Step 6
Add 3 cups of cooked rice. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes.
Step 7
Mix again and turn off the stove. Serve with Manchurian.
