Soya chunks tomato curry is soya chunks/soya nuggets in a tomato based gravy. This dish is a simple flavorful curry with soya absorbing all the flavors. You can have this yummy soya chunks curry as a side dish for Rotis or pulao.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Soya Chunks
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Jeera
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- Few Curry Leaves
- 2 Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Jeera Powder
- Coriander Leaves
Method
Step 1
Heat 2 tablespoons oil, add 1 teaspoon Jeera, 1 chopped onion, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
Step 2
Add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, few curry leaves, and mix well.
Step 3
Add 2 chopped tomatoes, mix well and add 1 teaspoon salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
Step 4
Add 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, and mix everything well.
Step 5
Add boiled soya chunks. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Add 1/2 cup water and cook until the masala is well done.
Step 7
Turn off the stove and garnish with coriander leaves.
