One of the simplest soup recipes that can be made at home. It’s very lightly spiced and makes a great soup for cold days. It’s one of the very popular Indo-Chinese soup recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Chopped Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Chopped Green Chilies
  • 1 Cup Chopped Carrots
  • 1 Cup Chopped Green Beans
  • 1 Teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon Soya Sauce
  • 32 oz Vegetable Stock
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Creamy Style Sweet Corn
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper Powder
  • 3 Tablespoon Corn Starch Water
  • 1 Beaten Egg
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves for Garnish

Method

Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon oil, add 1 teaspoon chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies, 1 cup chopped carrots, 1 cup chopped green beans, stir fry for 2 minutes.

Step 2

Add 1 teaspoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon soya sauce, and mix well.

Step 3

Add 32 oz vegetable stock, add 1 cup water, 1 cup creamy style sweet corn, and mix well.

Step 4

Add 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder, mix well and boil it for 3 minutes.

Step 5

Add 3 tablespoon corn starch water to thicken the soup.

Step 6

Add 1 beaten egg slowly for a creamy look (optional).

Step 7

Add chopped coriander leaves for garnish, turn off the stove and serve hot.
